It’s time for another elimination on Dancing with the Stars 2013 as our DWTS Season 16 contestants will shrink tonight from seven to only six. Who do you think survived last night’s DWTS 2013 Latin Night? And will the extra points earned from the dance-off make a difference? Find out who was voted off right here during our Dancing with the Stars 2013 Elimination Results Live Recap.
Last night’s Latin Night proved to be lucrative for several of our Dancing with the Stars Season 16 couples. In Round 1, the couple with the highest score gained immunity (wait–wrong show!). That couple was country singer Kellie Pickler and her partner Derek Hough, with a score of 29/30. Judge Len Goodman even gave a ten! Round 2 involved a dance-off in pairs with the remaining couples. When all was said and done, the judges chose Aly Raisman over Andy Dick, Zendaya Coleman over Jacoby Jones, and Ingo Rademacher over Sean Lowe. Each winner received three extra points to add to their scores from Round 1.
I think it’s pretty obvious that Andy and partner Sharna Burgess will be in the bottom two again, along with Bachelor Sean and Peta Murgatroyd. Ingo might have been in jeopardy if not for his extra three points from the judges. Will it be Andy or Sean–or someone else?– who is voted off Dancing with the Stars Season 16? We will know very soon. Join me as we see who is eliminated tonight during our Dancing with the Stars 2013 Elimination Results Show Live Recap.
Warning: Dancing with the Stars 2013 Spoilers Ahead!
This post contains Dancing with the Stars Season 16 spoilers for the Week 7 elimination results show. Please do not read any further if you do not want to know what happened on the show this week or who was voted off.
So here we go with tonight’s DWTS 2013 elimination results show. Remember that with the extra three points Zendaya and Val have a grand total of 32 points, a huge lead in judges’ score over Andy and Sharna‘s lowly 17 at the bottom of the pack. But before we get to results (hey, we’ve got an hour!), let’s have some entertainment! The opening dance is by the troupe, with Whitney Carson and the guys.
Next, we get treated to a performance by Michael Buble, singing “Come Dance with Me.” We get even more performing, this time with the encore dance, chosen by the judges. Aly and Mark get picked to do their salsa.
Now we get to some results on DWTS Season 16. Zendaya and Val are safe, but what about their dance-off duo Jacoby Jones and Karina Smirnoff? They are in jeopardy! I’m shocked! Aly and Mark, not surprisingly, are safe, while Ingo and Kym are in jeopardy.
The Camden Sophisticated Sisters perform next for the AT&T Spotlight Performance. This group of girls was formed to help kids be successful and have a sense of family. Pretty inspiring! DWTS is donating mirrors for them to put in their dance space in a water tower.
Now we hear the heart-breaking story of ballroom teacher and dancer, Adrianne Haslet, who lost her foot in the explosion at the Boston Marathon. It’s touching to see the support of her family and friends help her through the mental agony. Adrianne is going through therapy and asserts that she will dance again. She was thrilled to hear from Dancing with the Stars, as she was invited to dance in their ballroom when she recovers. More dancing along to some incredible violin music follows. Remember Twitch from So You Think You Can Dance? He’s one of the dancers! I loved him on that show!
Oh, here we go with another performance, this time from the DWTS 2013 dancers. Surely those results are right around the corner! We’re still waiting to hear the fate for Sean and Peta, along with Andy and Sharna, the two lowest-scoring couples from last night. One of these couples will be safe. It’s Sean and Peta!
Let’s recap our bottom three couples this week on Dancing with the Stars Season 16:
- Jacoby and Karina (Seriously, how did that happen?)
- Ingo and Kym
- Andy and Sharna
The couple who is safe? Jacoby and Karina! So who will leave DWTS 2013 tonight? It’s going to be . . . Andy and Sharna. Aw, I’ll miss funny ole Andy, but the voters probably got it right. It was hard to see him cry at the end, though. Seriously. He did. He has been a great part of Dancing with the Stars Season 16 and will be greatly missed by the viewers and everyone on the DWTS 2013 set.
