WARNING: AMERICAN IDOL 2013 SPOILERS AHEAD!

The following post contains American Idol 2013 spoilers for the Top 10 elimination results on American Idol Season 12. Please stop reading if you do not want to know what happened!

*****************************************************************************************

Here we go…a quick cameo by Phillip Phillips during the intro…love it. Good to see Nicki Minaj is on time tonight too! There were 26 million votes last night, but 39 million votes last week. It was two nights last week, but still.

We take a look back at the performances from last night and get some feedback from Jimmy Iovine at the same time. Do you like JImmy’s critiques? Ryan Seacrest has said someone could go home tonight. Could go home? What does that mean?

The first results of the night are in: Ryan is doing a breakdown of votes from regions and I am over it. When all is said and done, Candice Glover made the Top 3 singers this week and is safe! New twist this season: Ryan will reveal the top three singers every week, but not what order the finished in. Do you like that?

The Top 10 take the stage together to perform “Shine Your Way” from the upcoming movie The Croods and Curtis really annoys me. Anyone else?

Kree Harrison gets a surprise visit from the mayor of Woodville, Texas for some reason and presents her with a key to the city. Isn’t that what they do during the hometown visits? To the real news, Kree is in the Top 3 and safe this week!

Ryan Seacrest goes out to the crowd to introduce Bon Jovi, but instead trips on the steps and falls into Jane Lynch’s lap! You can;t beat those bloopers! Do you really care to see Bon Jovi perform?

Sing-off time: up first is Charlie Askew, who sings an original song called “My Sky Blue Diamond” and he sits behind the piano and it is actually a very good performance. I am impressed. For the girls, it is Aubrey Cleland and she sings “Out Here On My Own” and sounds really good, but she is so freakin’ thin! Who do you think gets that final spot on the tour? You get to decide, so go to American Idol to vote and the results will be announced Wednesday night on American Idol 2013!

You all voted him the champion last season, so here is Phillip Phillips performing his new single “Gone, Gone, Gone” on American Idol Season 12. Makes me miss Season 11 when the singers were better!

More results: Lazaro Arbos beat Angie Miller in Florida, but she beat him everywhere else and she is the last person in the Top 3 tonight. That means Angie, Candice and Kree are Top 3, but who didn’t see that one coming?

The rest of the results are announced:

  • Fourth Place – Lazaro Arbos
  • Fifth Place – Amber Holcomb
  • Sixth Place – Janelle Arthur
  • Seventh Place – Burnell Taylor
  • Eighth Place – Paul Jolley

That means in the bottom two tonight are Curtis Finch, Jr. and Devin Velez! Which one will be sent home tonight on American Idol 2013?

The bottom singer tonight is Curtis, so Devin is safe! He will now sing for the save, which the judges have to be unanimous and can use once this season. Do you think he is in the bottom because of his arrogance? Or maybe his arrest record coming out? Nicki Minaj makes a scene and pretends to walk off stage pissed. It is not all about you Nicki! Is she going to make a scene every time someone she likes might go home?

Now it is up to the judges and Randy Jackson delivers the news: they are not unanimous, which means Curtis will be going home!
