In the in light of genuine occasions survival-spine chiller Jungle, Daniel Radcliffe plays Yossi Ghinsberg, an Israeli explorer who, together with two companions, set off from the Bolivian city of La Paz on what should be the enterprise of a lifetime. Driving the route into the unfamiliar Amazon was an Austrian expat named Karl Ruprechter, who had met the companions days earlier and guaranteed to be acquainted with the area. In any case, their fantasy trip soon transformed into a wild bad dream from which not the majority of the men returned. The film depends on Ghinsberg’s consequent book about the nightmarish excursion.
“It’s about this guy that got lost in the jungle and survived on his own for three weeks,” Radcliffe told EW last year, during the film’s shoot in Australia. “It’s testing everybody: the crew, myself, everyone. It’s a very intense but a very seriously fun shoot.”
Jungle is directed by Greg McLean, whose previous credits include the two Wolf Creek films and this year’s James Gunn-scripted The Belko Experiment. The film costars Alex Russell, Joel Jackson, and Thomas Kretschmann.
Momentum Pictures is releasing Jungle in theaters, on demand, and digital HD on Oct. 20. You can watch the film’s new trailer exclusively above.1 of 1
