The bits of gossip are valid: Pink is sprinkling back onto the music scene with another collection called Beautiful Trauma, set to drop Oct. 13, the vocalist declared by means of Instagram on Wednesday (Aug. 9).
Pink additionally affirmed the collection’s new single, “Shouldn’t something be said about Us,” communicating her fervor to impart the news to fans.
“I could not be more excited right now. My single comes out today ‘what About Us’ and my new album ‘Beautiful Trauma’ comes out October 13th,” the Instagram photo caption reads. “I’m certifiably, insanely proud of this album. It’s been a while, and I’m grateful for all the years we’ve had. Looking forward to the next chapter with you.”
The last time we heard from Pink was through her March single “Waterfall” with Stargate and Sia. The upcoming album release will mark the 37-year-old singer’s seventh LP — and the first since 2012’s The Truth About Love.
She first teased the new single on Instagram and Twitter on Monday, where she offered Thursday, Aug. 10 as its release date.
Check out the announcement below, where the “Raise Your Glass” singer rocks a bedazzled brassiere and enormous hoop earrings for what’s presumably the cover art.
