It was finale night across the board, as the DWTS Finale aired and the winner of Dancing with the Stars Season 24 was crowned after a very long night of performances and dances on DWTS 2017, but who won Dancing with the Stars 2017 last night? Find out the DWTS finale results on DWTS last night below in our Dancing with the Stars 2017 spoilers!
Last night on Dancing with the Stars Season 24, it was a very long night of action. ABC decided to give us 2 1/2 hours for the DWTS Finale, for some unknown reason! They normally do an hour recap show before the finale starts at 9/8c, but not this time. Lots of time to fill, so lots of performances.
We saw everyone from TLC to Hailee Steinfeld take the stage. There were some great dances along the way, as we saw the ladies all dancing together (and Heather Morris was working it with them)! Then all the guys performed and we had some sex appeal going on for that one.
Then it was time for the 24-Hour Fusion dances after a long night of performances already. I don’t know why they do these dances, since do they really play a part in determining the winner? I think it is just a matter of wasting time with these dances.
After they were done, time for the results on Dancing with the Stars 2017 to be revealed. The scores and votes were added together and here were the standings for the final three couples:
- Third Place – Normani Kordei and Val Chermovskiy
- Second Place – David Ross and Lindsay Arnold
- Winner – Rashad Jennings and Emma Slater
I think everyone was shocked when Normani & Val were told they were in third place. At that point, it seemed inevitable that Rashad & Emma would win. I am so glad they did win, as he nailed it Monday night and was well-deserving of the victory!
