Part two of The Blacklist season 4 finale opens with Mr. Kaplan at the Department of Justice. She makes a deal to testify against Red in exchange for immunity.
Red decides to track down Henry Prescott, a man known for making problems go away. He finds a football player named JJ Brickman who Prescott previously worked for. He shoots JJ’s associate to force him to call Prescott.
Harold Cooper visits an evidence warehouse. He looks through a box of case files.
Meanwhile, Red takes Ressler to an old warehouse. He leads him to Reven Wright‘s body.
Samar Novabi visits the Department of Justice. His girlfriend Janet is there and Samar tells her that she’s going to tell Aram the truth about her– that she gave him up to the grand jury.
Cooper meets with Liz. He tells her that he’s having Red’s DNA and hers tested so they can finally know if Red is her father.
Ressler watches as a medical examiner looks at Reven Wright. He finds ballistic evidence that connects the murder back to Laurel Hitchin.
Elizabeth Keen walks down the street when three men grab her. One of them tells her, “Mr. Kaplan would like to see you.” They pull her into a van.
Laurel shows up at the grand jury. She tells them that Red’s deal with the FBI is a matter of national security and their investigation is over.
Mr. Kaplan drives with Liz. But gunmen arrive. Mr. Kaplan shoots at them and drives away, leaving Liz behind.
Mr. Kaplan arrives at a bridge where Red and Dembe are waiting. He tells her, “You’re so focused on destroying me, you’re willing to hurt one of the few people you’ve ever loved.”
Mr. Kaplan tells Red that she’s not going to prison and asks him to shoot her. When he refuses, she jumps off the bridge.
Laurel gives Ressler his badge. She tells him that he has to do whatever she says from now on. He says that’s not going to happen, then knocks her over so hard that she starts bleeding out of her head and appears to be dead.
When finds out that Janet testified against him, he returns to the task force headquarters and finds Samar. They kiss.
After getting the DNA results, Liz confronts Red and asks him why he didn’t just tell her that he’s her father. He says, “Elizabeth, you need to walk away.”
At the end of the episode, Tom Keen carries a suitcase. He makes a call and says, “Mr. Kaplan’s instructions were very specific. I’m on my way.” He opens the suitcase to reveal a decayed body.
