It’s official, Ginnifer Goodwin, Josh Dallas, Jared Gilmore and Emilie de Ravin are also checking out from Storybrooke at the end of Once Upon a Time season 6.
As the fairytale drama gears into it’s finale, more characters will be taking their final bow as series regulars. Ginnifer Goodwin, Josh Dallas, Jared Gilmore, Emilie de Ravin will not be returning for the revamped season 7 this fall. Joining Jennifer Morrison and Rebecca Mader who announced their departures this week. Thus, the show will focus on the three returning regulars – Lana Parrilla, Robert Carlyle, and Colin O’Donoghue – as well as two new members expected to be introduced during the finale.
Once Upon a Time is expected to wrap up a majority of the story lines this Sunday. Giving the characters closure but what does this mean for the show? The upcoming season will be completely different with a sneak peak at what is to come at the end of the finale. The story of Snow White that started this show will be coming to a close.
According to showrunners, Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis, this may not be the last we see of them. Guest appearances are possible. At the moment the only known guest spot belongs to Morrison who is contracted for one episode next season.
Can Once Upon a Time survive without a majority of their cast? Without Snow White, Prince Charming, and Henry, the Charming family is officially out. What does this mean for Rumbelle? Bobby is contracted to return without Emilie. Does that mean what he did is going to ruin them? Tune in this Sunday to see what direction TPTB is taking this show.
