It seems like monogamy was the topic of the night on First Dates NBC tonight. Besides that, we had dirty old men and hopeless romantics on First Dates Season 1 tonight. However, could any new love be found tonight on NBC? Check out the details from Week 6 in our First Dates NBC Recap below!
Last week on NBC’s First Dates 2017, we had a variety of couples in the mix. We had one guy wanting to get married and start a family ASAP, so the girl ran! One lady put up her fences before giving the guy a chance. When she took them down, it was too late. We had a little person enter the restaurant, who happened to be very good-looking! His date agreed to a second date, but then never replied for that second date! We saw a future President looking for his First Lady and a lady with trust issues, who seemed to find a guy too good to be true!
Will love be found this week on First Dates Season 1? Find out what the new couples had to offer below!

Nate & Jennifer
He is an alpha male. He brings a flower plant and a tower of questions. She is a marketing executive and wants to meet an equal for her. She said she judges people and is a little shocked by the game and flower. After some questions, she seems to be loving the game on First Dates NBC. She was married before, but they were in different places. He wanted a family and she did not, at that time. She said Nate is so uptight and wants to see him loosen up some. They go to the holding room and Nate brings out a guitar and sings her a song regarding the plant! He wants a second date and she agrees, as long as he loosens up. She proceeds to take off his bow tie and jacket and unbutton some buttons and messes up his hair! It helps, so listen to her! It looks like she met another guy and the date never happened!
Carlos & Leo
Carlos has never said “I love you” to anyone, including his parents! He was adopted and afraid to let those walls down. He likes the nerdy, white guy. Well, meet Leo, who is a comic book nerd! Carlos is afraid of shrimp, so Leo makes him try some and he seems to like it. So, Carlos said he is into monogamy, but then Leo said in a relationship, he thinks there should be a standard that there could be an attraction to other people. Um, what? Apparently they both agree that attraction can be there, but monogamy for both. But they can get drunk and you can’t control what happens then. They said there was a connection there, so a second date is in store for them!
Stanten & Renelle
She normally likes the tall, athletic type guys. However, the ego normally comes with it. He is a retired minor league player that now works for the Chicago White Sox. He is a hopeless romantic. She played softball for 15 years, so he is loving it. He is so damn cute and seems like such a nice guy. They are both very close to their mothers. She said her father was an amazing man and she needs a man to match or be better than him. He wants a second date and she is hesitant and said they could chill again. She said no romance is there, but they can chill sometime after First Dates NBC. Ugh, he seems like a catch, girl!
Russell & Susan
She pretty much says older men are dirty birds and having a lot of sex! Russell said his friend said he is a player! They meet and actually know each other from the senior community in Chicago! They enjoy oysters and he can’t seem to hear anything. The whole thing seems awkward, as Susan knows that he is a player. He said he wants to pursue, even though he knows she gets a lot of attention from men. They agree to a second date, but I feel like they have already dated before? It looks like it worked, as the update on them said he put his player ways to the side and have been dating ever since the show!
Chad & Bethany
She is from a small town and it is hard to date someone you don’t know. She has lost over 120 pounds, so looking for someone with a healthy lifestyle. Chad was a skinny kid growing up, so he now is bulked up and loving that healthy lifestyle. He runs a comedy website from home. She said she has not had a boyfriend in years. She hasn’t even been on a date, since she normally spends weeks getting to know them and then throws them aside before a date happens. They talk about her weight loss and they both like determined people. He paid the bill, which she wanted to do half. She does tip instead, so they compromise and seem to be enjoying each other on First Dates NBC. They agree to hang out some more and seem to be getting along really well.
