Last night’s episode of Southern Charm 2017 began with a polo match that set up the rest of the episode. Thomas recruited Landon to host the polo match for him at his house, and Landon gladly accepted the offer to play “Mrs. Ravenel” for the day. In addition to this possible love connection, we saw the random pairing of Chelsea and Austen begin to happen. When Shep is away, Austen will play! Later, Kathryn resurfaced and told Craig what had been going on in her life lately, but Craig just couldn’t help himself to mention that he thought Landon liked the idea of being the woman in Thomas’s life. While Craig meddled in his friends’ lives though, Austen and Chelsea’s relationship soared to new heights, and Craig’s girlfriend, Naomi, confided in Cameran that she feared for Craig’s future. Finally, during Shep’s birthday party cruise, Chelsea picked Austen over Shep, and Landon told Thomas why she didn’t want to date him. This episode was packed with dramatic scenes, but you can read below to see our top 5 moments.
5. A Polo Match of Love
When Austen picked up Chelsea to go to Thomas’s polo match for their first date, he immediately asked her if there was anything going on with she and Shep. According to Chelsea, they had a tiny make-out session but that’s it. Well, Austen took that answer as Chelsea was still fair game because, let’s face it, Shep makes out with everyone! As soon as this new couple arrived at the match, Cameran was disappointed when she found out that they came together since she was rooting for a Chelsea and Shep love connection. Above all, Cameran thought it was shady of Austen to make a move on Chelsea when he knew Shep had shown interest first. He broke “bro code.” As for Landon, who organized the polo match for Thomas, Craig thought she really fit into the role of “Mrs. Ravenel” and was already used to this lifestyle even though she and Thomas were not dating.
