AMC has released a behind-the-scenes video of Vince Gilligan and the cast. And, this includes a first look at the return of Giancarlo Esposito as Gus Fring. So, the shoot location is Los Pollos Hermanos. Associate producer Jenn Carroll says, “The return of Gus Fring is our biggest special effect.” And, Bob Odenkirk says that seeing Gus “is gonna blow people’s minds.” Next, the set designers explain that they’ve put detail into making sure the Los Pollos Hermanos set looks just like it did in Breaking Bad.
Then, Odenkirk then explains that Better Call Saul is getting closer to the world of Breaking Bad. And, Gus Fring is a “gatekeeper” to that world. So, the return of Gus is indicative of Jimmy McGill getting closer to becoming Saul Goodman. Plus, the behind-the-scenes video also shows Bryan Cranston stopping by to talk to the cast and crew.
