Bay Kennish and Daphne Vasquez are flooded with memories of their late father Angelo Sorrento in Switched at Birth season 5 episode 7. For a refresher on what happened last week, read my recap of episode 6.
Switched at Birth season 5 episode 7 opens with Daphne imagining what it would be like if Angelo were still alive. Then, she tells her vision of Angelo, “I just wish you were here.”
Later, Bay surprises Travis Barnes in his dorm room. Then, she takes off her coat and reveals shes’ not wearing anything underneath.
Daphne asks Regina Vasquez if she’s ever wanted to meet any of the people who received organs from Angelo. But, Regina says, “I’m not interested.”
Ally, the woman who received Angelo’s heart, visits Bay at the tattoo parlor. Then, she shows her the chest scar that she’s hoping to cover up with a tattoo.
Ally goes to the coffee shop. So, Daphne confronts her and says that she told her Regina doesn’t want to meet her. But, Ally swears that she wasn’t going to tell Regina who she is.
Daphne tells Regina she’s sorry. Then, Regina asks how long she’s known Ally. And, Daphne says, “Just a few days.”
Kathryn Kennish gets her priest to sit down with Lily Summers to talk about a possible baptism for her son. But, Lily tells Kathryn that she plans to raise her son Jewish.
Bay talks to Ally, but Daphne interrupts and says that Ally wasn’t born with a heart defect– she “ruined” her heart with cocaine. Then, Daphne tells her, “Sounds to me like you didn’t deserve to be on the transplant list.”
Daphne talks to her vision of Angelo. And, he tells her that it feels good having saved a young girl’s life.
Travis finds Emmett Bledsoe and apologizes to him because he didn’t realize how much he’s been going through. And, Emmett tells him that not having Travis or Bay has made things harder.
Travis and Emmett visit Bay at the tattoo parlor. And, Emmett takes photos of Ally for his photography project.
Daphne talks to Regina about meeting Ally. But, Regina says that she doesn’t want to be reminded of losing her husband every time she sees her.
At the end of the episode, Regina meets Ally. Then, she sees Ally’s prism necklace and shows her that it matches the key chain on the key to the house Regina and Angelo were building. And, she hugs Ally. Then, she says, “I feel him. I feel his heart.”
