America’s Got Talent 2017 Spoilers: Tyra Banks New Host For AGT Season 12

We have some major changes coming to America’s Got Talent 2017 this summer, as Nick Cannon announced he was quitting the show back in February and now NBC has found his replacement in Tyra Banks! Yes, from America’s Next Top Model to Celebrity Apprentice and now AGT 2017! Get the details below in our America’s Got Talent 2017 spoilers!

After Nick Cannon’s big announcement last month, I was curious to see who they would bring into the picture. I had thought maybe Ryan Seacrest, since he has proven himself as a host for reality shows like this. Also, with Simon Cowell as a producer and judge now, it seemed like they could bring their banter back to television for America’s Got Talent 2017.

However, it was Tyra Banks that got the gig, as she announced on Twitter yesterday:

Besides Tyra making the big announcement, AGT judge Howie Mandel shared the big news also:

I am not sure how this one is going to work out. I do think Nick was good at hosting and I am just not sure how Tyra will do. I mean, she has served as host of America’s Next Top Model and had her own daytime talk show, but hosting a reality competition is a lot different. I thinks he can work her magic and make it work, but we’ll se officially this summer!
