Today we don’t feel like doing anything. We just want to keep Bruno Mars‘ “That’s What I Like” on repeat. Bruno sang the song at this year’s Grammys, and now he has a new music video for it, where he dances off to himself and has the most epic dance moves.
Ever since Bruno Mars started his career, there was this Michael Jackson feel about him. The way he moves, the way he sings, the way he can wear any fedora hat available. Bruno can manage to bring up funky, old grooves and make them cool again. As we know, Bruno’s inspiration comes up big names in the music industry like MJ or Prince or Elvis Presley.
For example, “Uptown Funk” became one of the biggest hits of our times and it brought back a long gone rhythm and music. Also, when he premiered “24K Magic,” we could still feel that uniqueness combined with old sweet tunes.
On the other side, what “That’s What I Like” brings is just Bruno dancing to himself. With a very cheery song, Bruno made it clear that his talent is incomparable. The music video is just him rocking his hips in very epic dance moves, with some sketches of himself or things that have something to do with the lyrics.
But the music video doesn’t have naked women or aggressive behavior or alcohol to make it cool. It’s just Bruno, and he’s killing it. And there’s nothing lazy about this song.
Most likely you’ll enjoy this song, and you can watch the music video below:
