After weeks of challenges and eliminations on Top Chef Season 14, we finally determined the final two chefs on Top Chef 2017 last night and it did not end one for one of them, but who was eliminated on Top Chef Charleston 2017 last night? Find out the Week 13 results on Top Chef last night below in our Top Chef Charleston 2017 spoilers!
Last night on Top Chef 2017 Season 14, we kicked things off with the Quickfire Challenge and the chefs had to create a dish highlighting the habanero using local ingredients to make the dish. It seems like a norm since Brooke came back from Last Chance Kitchen, but she won the challenge and got a seven day stay at the resort they were at in Mexico, which looked beautiful!
From there, they had the Elimination Challenge and it was going back to the Mayan times for these three chefs. They would be creating a dish using Mayan ingredients and tool and everything would be cooked over an open flame! Yes, they had no electric tools to help them out and a local pantry to pick from!
This was a tough one, as the judges enjoyed all three dishes on Top Chef Charleston 2017. However, only two could make it through. The judged loved Shirley’s dish and said it stood out, so she was the winner of the challenge and made the finale!
Then it came down to Brooke and Sheldon. We had Brooke, who cooked a perfect fish, but she tried to put too much into it with the ingredients. Sheldon had the flavors, but he did not cook the fish properly on the grill and destroyed the fish and it was a lump of meat! We all knew this was coming, as Sheldon was eliminated in the same spot her was his first time! That meant Brooke made the finale (shocker) and an all-female finale on Top Chef Charleston 2017 next week!
