As Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce season 3 comes to a wrap, the ladies are finally starting to get over their hurdles and find a way to over come what they’ve been going though. The time is now.
Throughout this season the women have had to deal with one thing or another as they made their way through life. From child drama to love lives to professional career success, there was always a hurdle in the path. The Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce season 3 finale brought all these issues back to the forefront and showcased how each girlfriend was setting herself up to overcome her obstacles.
JoJo came to the hard realization that her actions have set a terrible example for her daughter. Her sweet, sweet girl is no longer the sweet little Zoey we met back in season 1. “I’m an asshole, I made another asshole” she says as she’s recalling the things she read on Instagram that her daughter sent to her friend’s daughter. They’ve had a rough year, this isn’t totally Jo’s fault but she feels like it is. She’s the common denominator and she feels she needs to make a change. So Phoebe recommends this boxing/meditating class that’s supposed to allow you to get out your frustrations and then get back in touch with your spiritual instincts or some other hippie shit.
The class seems to be helping Jo, she is getting out her pent up frustration and then going home much more relaxed. Releasing endorphins is always a good idea. And if this is helping, good for her. Best part is she beats up Albert right at the end. Albert is also in the class… most likely for his frustrations over his relationship with Delia and his divorce that’s in the works.
