We kicked off the Project Runway Junior Season 2 finale last night on Lifetime, as the designers got to work on their final collections and it was a battle between Tieler and Hawwaa to see which one would actually show their full collection in the finale show, but who got eliminated on Project Runway Junior 2017 last night? Find out the Finale Night 1 results on Project Runway Junior last night below in our Project Runway Junior 2017 spoilers!
Last night on Project Runway Junior Season 2, the designers were sent home to work on their collections. They had to make a six-piece spring collection with a $4,000 budget. The designers documented their journey along the way and then Tim Gunn met with them and their families when they arrived in Los Angeles, which would be the site for the final runway show!
It was all about Tieler and Hawwaa this week, as they would show the judges two pieces from their collection which would be a preview of what is to come. The judges would look at them, critique them and then pick one of them to move on to the finale and one of them would be headed home!
The judges seemed to like both looks from the designers and had some critiques for both of them. To be honest, Tieler disappointed me. His whole collection was blah and not the Tieler I feel in love with this entire season. His past few weeks have been rough and this just was not the same designs from like Week 1 or 2.
Hawwaa did create some good looks. They were a little crazy, but to me, that is what a runway show is all about. Have we ever seen photos from New York Fashion Week? No one would wear this stuff, but it is all about the show. Her pieces created a better show and the judges agreed, as they moved her on to the finale and Tieler was sent home, sadly.
