Maroon 5 Releases New Music Video for “Cold”

Right in the middle of the winter, Maroon 5 releases “Cold”.  The song premiered early this week and is a collaboration with rapper Future. And two days after that, we get the music video, and I have to warn you, it’s kind of weird.

Maroon 5 are in the spotlight lately. After Adam Levine received his star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame, the band returned with a new song. “Cold” is just as fun as “Don’t Wanna Know,” making you want to listen to it on repeat forever.

The fans have different opinions about the song.  Many fans remember the beautiful, romantic sounds from the beginning of Maroon 5. For example, their early songs. Or the entire Songs About Jane album. But, on the other side, there are also the fans who embrace the band’s new sound and embrace it completely.

But “Don’t Wanna Know” has with a complete different sound and it reached 200 million views on YouTube.

The music video for “Cold” is just as weird. It starts with Adam driving, and gets a call from Future to listen a new song at his party. He calls his wife Behati Prinsloo to let her know he’ll be late. The party is weird, he ends up drugged and sees a lot of things that ends up telling Behati about at the end of the video.

In the end, while I miss their old music videos, I cannot get over how much I love this song. I’ll let you decide if you love or hate the video, you can check it out below:
