This week on Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce season 3 episode 6 “Rule #218: There’s No Crying In Baseball” the drama continues as Abby deals with the new revelation about the coach. Meanwhile the rest of her friends are dealing with their own set of troubles.
As always, the ladies are hit with drama after drama as they navigate life. From their love lives, to their professional lives, to the lives of their kids, they don’t seem to be getting much of a break these days. Let’s break it down.
Linda had spilled a little something last week, accidentally, letting Abby know that Mike was still living at home with his soon to be ex-wife. She’s obviously taking it pretty hard but is managing to get the smut written. This of course takes a turn when the wife shows up at the final game of the season. She doesn’t know who Abby is but Abby soon realizes. The tension is clearly in the air around them. Luckily for Abbs, she’s got her bestie Jo by her side.
Speaking of, Jo and Abby later get into a quarrel over their kids. Lily confides in her mother that Zoey had been bullying her over Snapchat and in person. Imagining sweet, always put together, Zoey as a bully is hard for all of them. But it’s happening. Abby talks to Jo who insists on letting it go down. This doesn’t last long, Zoey physically assaults Lily after seeing her with Ethan. The girls are fighting over a guy. Come on ladies, that’s not how you want to play this. Hoes before bros. It’s always hoes before bros. Abby and Jo do make up at the end of it, they are adults and they see themselves in the kids. This isn’t before Jo lays some cold hard truth in front of Abby, letting her know that she can see the heart eyes on her and the last time she had that she married the guy.
Abby eventually makes nice with the coach, leading to them FINALLY getting it on as the screen fades to black.
