Switched at Birth season 5 episode 2 is titled “This Has to Do with Me.” According to the episode synopsis, “A photo of Daphne Vasquez and Mingo dressed up as famous singers at a party goes viral. And this prompts a discussion on race relations and free speech. Meanwhile, Bay Kennish seeks a job at a tattoo parlor. And Kathryn Kennish and John Kennish court a new shortstop. In the Switched at Birth season 5 episode 2 promo video, Daphne asks Regina if she thinks Mingo’s outfit was racist. Regina says, “Of course.” Meanwhile, Bay tells Travis Barnes, “I wish we never came back home.” Later, Daphne says they’re losing their right to free speech. In a Switched at Birth season 5 episode 2 sneak peek clip, Daphen runs into Sharee. Daphne brings up the picture and asks if Sharee was offended. But, Sharee says, “I don’t let stuff like that get to me.” Daphne tells her, “I have to do something.
