On America’s Next Top Model 2017 episode 9, the previously eliminated contestants return to complete against the top seven in a fashion music video shoot.
Last week the contestants did a luxury fashion shoot at a party hosted by Philipp Plein, then posted on a private jet with Jason Derulo. Binta Dibba was eliminated.

America’s Next Top Model 2017 week 9 opens with Tatiana Price talking about getting best photo. She says she feels that people are really starting to see her as competition.
Rita Ora tells the group that all seven eliminated contestants will be returning for the week. Then she introduces choreographer Tanisha Scott. Tanisha has her assistant Nefertari Green demonstrate what the routine looks like.
During the rehearsal, Marissa Hopkins starts to get very frustrated. She tears up and walks away for a moment because she’s so upset by the idea of being judged by her dancing abilities.
Justine Biticoin passes out during rehearsal. She wakes up but still needs an ambulance.
The contestants dance to compete to be the leader within their group. Paige Mobley becomes the leader for the top 7. Tash Wells is selected as the leader of the returning contestants.
Justine returns to the house, determined to make up for the time she missed. Paige and others help her practice the dance.
Marissa and Kyle McCoy catch up. They start kissing. In her interview, Courtney Nelson says that seeing that Marissa is “distracted” makes her feel better about her chances.
At the shoot for the music video, Krislian Rodriguez (my personal favorite of the returning contestants) says that she was rehearsing all night.
Drew Elliot introduces the contestants to designer Christian Cowan, who designed the looks for the music video. Rita introduces French Montana, who’ll be featured in the music video.
During her interview, Marissa admits she was distracted by being “affectionate” with Kyle the previous night and didn’t practice the dance. In the shoot, Drew and Rita single Marissa out as a weak link and tell her to look tougher in her facial expressions.
In the second take, Drew continues to be disappointed by Marissa. He says in his interview, “Today she definitely fell to the bottom of my list.”
During panel, they start with the girls in the top 7. Ashley Graham says that Paige has her vote.
Rita says that Tatiana was focusing on the dance moves and forgetting “to give me face.”
Ashley Graham tells Cory Anne Roberts, “You look like one of Rihanna’s girls.”
Rita tells Marissa that her face look petrified. Law Roach says, “You just kind of fizzled.”
Law says of Courtney, “Let’s not give this girl another challenge where she has to dance because I cannot sit through another challenge.” Ashley tells Courtney, “You know that you didn’t do that great.” But, she says she’s proud of her new attitude.
The judges love India Gants‘ performance. Law says she’s a superstar and to keep it up.
Law says that Cody Wells did an excellent job.
Next, the judges get into the returning girls. Rita tells Tash, “I think that you came back meaning business.”
Rita tells Kyle, “You have such a good look. You have such a great face. But, do you want to be here right now?” Kyle admits she was frustrated after being eliminated for a hip-hop music video and then asked to do another hip-hop music video.
Ashley tells Justine that she doesn’t love her video. Drew says that Justine is beautiful and worked hard and says, “That’s the most that I can ask for.”
Ashley says that Binta seemed like she was focused too much on the dance moves, but Drew chimes in and says he thought it was perfect.
Rita tells Cherish Waters, “That, I think we can both agree, wasn’t your best piece of art.” Cherish says, “I think it was pretty good, though. I liked it.”
Law tells Krislian, “The dance and attitude doesn’t even feel like you, but this is great.”
Ashley tells Giah Hardeman she did a great job and that she’s proud of her.
India gets best video of the week. Courtney and Marissa are in the bottom two. Rita tells Courtney that there’s been a great adjustment in her attitude this week, but that the competition is still stiff. Marissa is eliminated.
Giah and Tash are the top two of the returning contestants. Rita tells Giah, “Today you brought something completely different.” She tells Tash that she came back “with a vengeance.” She tells them it was very hard to choose between them. Tash is brought back into the competition.
