American Horror Story is a masterpiece itself. And the fact that they create all this secrecy between seasons it’s even more exciting. The series has managed to win Golden Globes and will reach now its seventh season and while the creators still want to keep the plot a secret, we found out a few things about the upcoming season.
When asked about the plot of the seventh season, of course Murphy said it was a secret to everyone but himself and FX CEO John Landgraf and studio executive Dana Walden and actress Sarah Paulson:
“There are only three people in the world who know what [the new season is about]. And that’s FX CEO John Landgraf, [studio executive] Dana Walden, and Sarah Paulson. I don’t know [if we’ll keep it quiet]. Last year was successful. I don’t know if we’ll do it again. I think maybe we’ll release some of it earlier than we did. But I just started writing it, I haven’t even cast it yet — except for Sarah and Evan. It’s a modern-day story. That’s all I can say.”
Landgraf, on the other hand, promised to keep the secrecy:
“It actually will be shrouded in super secrecy. Ryan has yet another really innovative idea for how to do something fresh and different with the franchise that audiences haven’t seen before, and there’s a marketing promotional hook around that.”
Whatever it is, it will still shock us. According to a teasers, fans believe the seventh season could be set at sea, but who knows? We’ll just have to wait and see.1 of 1
