It seems that The Walking Dead might have taken the decision to go slow with the second episode after the immensely cruel and tense premiere they had this season, but that won’t last forever, and fans should brace themselves because Negan is just getting started. In an episode that will last 85 minutes!
I think there’s no need not to advise not to read the spoiler if you haven’t caught up with the show yet because it’s been two full weeks where newspapers and websites were all roaming the loss of Glenn (Steven Yeun) and Abraham (Michael Cudlitz), and how cruel Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) was, so the next episode had brought us King Ezekiel and Carol’s wonderfully misinterpreted bliss in the Kingdom, and while all the episodes have stayed under the 60 minutes range, it appears that AMC will bring us 85 minutes of terror in the fourth episode.
The third episode is supposed to move forward with the Saviors and give us more insight into what will happen to Daryl (Norman Reedus) after he was taken prisoner.
So the fourth one which will have 85 minutes (so probably a full sixty like the last episode of the sixth season, taking into account the commercials) will bring us the remaining members of the group and they will receive a visit from Negan in Alexandria.
The picture released seems a bit foreshadowing regarding the cell bars, but I won’t go into that right now.
According to some rating websites, the rating fell dramatically with the second episode. I guess Glenn has that effect on people, right? What1 of 1
