If you missed last week’s episode of Blue Bloods 2016, check out my Blue Bloods season 7 recap right here to get caught up!Tonight’s episode of Blue Bloods season 7 started off with Jamie and Eddie being put in charge of a bad collar of a taxi driver who swore at a car that almost hit him. Turns out, the driver and passenger are from Homeland Security and they forced them to arrest the man for some outrageous charges. Later the man is begging Jamie and Eddie to help him out because he is still not a citizen of the United States, he is waiting for his application to go through.
We then see as Gormley is trying to fix the AC while his wife nags at him about how miserable it is to not being living in their own house because the remodel is taking so long. Gormley tells her that they will just open some windows, but when they do, there is a group of men outside drinking and being loud. He goes out to ask them to keep it down, but ends up getting jumped by them. Gormley is taken to the hospital and Anthony comes in to talk to him, but Gormley doesn’t remember anything about the men who jumped him.
Erin and Frank meet for lunch and Erin tells Frank that Jamie went to her for help, but doesn’t tell him with what. She tells Frank that he should talk to Jamie, we know it’s about the guy he was forced to arrest. Erin finds out that Anthony is working for Frank helping investigate what happened to Gormley, she isn’t thrilled that neither of them told her sooner.
Later, Jamie goes to his father and tells him what he saw and what happened with Mr. Salem, the taxi cab driver. The next day they find out that Mr. Salem was beaten at Rikers for being Arab and Jamie is feeling really guilty about it. He feels like he could have done more to prevent it.
Meanwhile, Danny is trying to get a witness to a mob shooting to testify by bringing him food and watching soccer with him. The same guy that shot someone in the witnesses neighborhood also shot him in the back and put him in a wheelchair. He agrees to testify, but the next day when Danny and Baez go to his house, the same man he was supposed to be testifying against is answering his door. He basically admitted to threatening the guy in the wheelchair to stop him from testifying.
After his investigation, Anthony finds a suspect in Gormley’s assault and he is arrested for public urination which leads to him snitching on his friends and making a deal. Meanwhile, the guy in the wheelchair ends up shooting the guy who Danny wanted him to testify against, in front of Danny and Baez as they were walking up to him. They end up having to arrest him, but he was looking at the bright side and told Danny that at least he didn’t have to find a witness now.
