Three years ago, Justin Theroux was photographed during a job in Central Park while filming for The Leftovers and his sweatpants seemed to be a bit tight in some areas, and the photo went viral and attracted a lot of comments on the subject, and that most definitely didn’t feel as good as some people might think, and Justin opened up to Elle and shared that the whole attention was embarrassing.
In a new interview during the promotion of his upcoming movie, The Girl on the Train, Justin also spoke about the sweatpants incident, which didn’t feel flattering at all:
“It kind of did. I don’t want to say objectified, but it was embarrassing. It’s like having someone yank your shorts down in public. It doesn’t feel great. Anyone who has an unflattering picture taken of them would probably say, “Join the club.”
It has the appearance of a compliment, but it’s more mortifying than anything else.”
“Being kind, that’s it. I think that’s the best one. Approach each situation with kindness.”
