An unexpected turn could foil Quinn King‘s plans on the UnREAL season 2 finale. For a refresher on what happened last week, read my recap of episode 9.
The UnREAL season 2 finale opens with Rachel Goldberg and Quinn entering Coleman Wasserman‘s office with a team that’s been instructed to confiscate every piece of equipment in his office.
Outside, Coleman tells Rachel that Everlasting is all she has left now because the people at Everlasting are the only ones who will ever accept her for the damaged person she is. She tells security to take him away.
Host Graham shows finalists Chantal and Tiffany James the diamond rings that the winner could receive. Quinn watches from afar and says, “Mmm. Distract them with sparkles.”
Tiffany tells Chet Wilton that they have to end their relationship because she loves Darius. She tells him their relationship was very “comforting” but they have to end it.
Coleman finds Jeremy Caner at a bar. He tells him that he’s going to take Everlasting down and asks Jeremy if he wants to help him.
Graham films the intro for the live finale, teasing all of the surprises it will have. Quinn watches and happily says, “Oh, you have no idea what kind of surprises.”
Jeremy finds Rachel. He warns her that Yael is a reporter and that she’s about to go on live TV and say that the Everlasting crew killed Mary.
Madison escorts Yael to the set. She asks her if she knows what to say and then tells her what her cue is. Rachel spots Yael and tells Jeremy that she has to stop her.
Rachel tells Coleman that Yael is on lockdown. Colman tells her that he can only keep Yael until the show wraps and then they’re going to expose Everlasting to the press.
During the live show, Darius is asked to choose between Chantal and Tiffany, then marry one of them. Darius says that he needs a minute and speaks to Romeo.
To Darius’ surprise, Ruby Carter shows up. She tells him that Jay called and said he was in trouble. He asks her to marry her. She laughs and says no, reminding him that they haven’t known each other very long. She tells him that she does love him and that they should get away from the cameras and see where it goes.
Rachel tells Jeremy that Coleman and Yael are going to the press and there’s nothing they can do to stop it. She says, “We’re all going to jail.”
Coleman and Yael drive away. Meanwhile, Chantal and Tiffany talk to the crew about how betrayed they feel by the fact that Darius didn’t choose either of them.
At the end of the episode, Jeremy tells Rachel and Quinn that they don’t ever have to worry about Coleman and Yael. They see a news report that says the two crashed their. The episode ends with Rachel, Quinn, Jeremy and Chet lying in beach chairs and silently thinking about what happened.
