This week’s episode of OWN’s series The Haves and the Have Nots was GOOD! Deaths, crazy family drama, arrests, alcohol…..a stabbing? See who gets a slight taste of their own medicine this week!
Hope you saw the episode 15 recap of HAHN! The Haves and the Have Nots 2016 Recap: S4 E15 – The Apple Tree.
The HAHN episode starts off with Hanna Young and Jim Cryer, who is still shocked from the news of Wyatt Cryer’s death. Jim called the guard and was like, “I need Jennifer Sallison here now.” The guard was like, “I don’t work for you.” He tried to get Hanna to relay the message, but Hanna refused. Jim begged her, saying he would pay her. Hanna said, “I don’t want your money. I can’t.” Jim was like, “I can’t be in here right now. Please help me!” Hanna just walked out of the interrogation room and out of the jail.
Then we head back to the tow yard, where War still has his eye on Benny Young. Benny’s phones still aren’t working, so he decides that he’s going to pay David Harrington a visit. War stops him and convinces him to chill out and stay in the office, “I know what you mean. When somebody messes with your money, you just want to kill someone. But keep a cool head, let’s just chill.” Poor Benny is so dumb…
Mitch pulls back into the tow yard and pulls one of the tow trucks in front of War’s car so they can’t see. Then he goes back and plants a tire in War’s truck. Now this seems all great and good, but I could already tell that this wasn’t going to end well. When he goes back in, he and War go back and forth. Mitch tells Benny to come on so they can go see David, but War stops them and tells them that they aren’t going anywhere. Mitch is like, “What’s wrong with you? You trying to watch him or something?” Benny looks like, “Wait…what?” And War is like, “What you know?” But before things could pop off anymore, War received a picture from Candice Young showing the money, so he finally let them go.
At Veronica Harrington’s house, Jeffrey Harrington and Melissa are talking in their bedroom/the baby’s room. Jeffrey’s like, “So, what’s it like being a whore?” Melissa said, “Well you’re doing it for free.” Then she lets him have it: “I hate your mother – she’s a b***h. If you can figure out a way to help me take care of my parents and get out of this, then fine. If not, I’ll take you and your mother down. So until then, you better grab this a** and these boobs like I’m the hottest guy you’ve ever seen!” BOOM!
So while they’re upstairs talking, David shows up to get his son. He calls Jeffrey down and tells him that it’s time for them to go. David tells them that he filed for divorce and tells Jeffrey that everything is okay, they can leave. Jeffrey’s like, “No, dad. I have to stay.” David was like, “We already know about the car. She has nothing on you now.” Veronica laughed and was like, “Ha, yes I do And it’s pretty big.” David tries to ask Jeffrey about it, but Jeffrey can’t even say it. Veronica’s like, “Yeah, so he’s going to stay here with Melissa until the wedding and after the baby’s born.” David tries to plead with his son again, but Jeffrey just tells him he has to stay. Then Alice the maid brought Veronica the phone – it was Katheryn Cryer. Veronica was like, “Oh my, I’m so sorry. We’ll be there soon,” and gets off the phone. David and Jeffrey were like, “What happened?” This heifa says, “Oh, Wyatt’s dead.” Well dang…
David went ahead and left. And Veronica told Jeffrey, “Funny. David’s b***h is dead, and now yours is.”
After that, War meets up with Candice to get the money. War tells her that they’re good now, and she was really close to Benny being gone. So War grabs the cash and leaves, and Candice gets in her car and cries – she knows how close she was to losing Benny.
Back at Veronica’s house, she’s sitting there drinking while Jeffrey is itching to get to the house and find out about Jeffrey. Then she kept saying that he needed to quit crying over a man and he’s just going to have to wait to go because she’s been drinking and she needs him to drive her, but she isn’t ready yet. She was so mean! She also tells the maid that, all the clothes he bought – throw them out. She bought him a whole new wardrobe. Then she went on to talk about how Melissa is still hood and how happy she is that Melissa is (supposedly) having a boy – she gets to try again at raising a man – not like him. She also said, “I wish I could call Quincy to be you up again – but I can’t do that, can I?”
Meanwhile, War was headed home when he got stopped by two police cars. They get him out of the car and search it. First they found the money, and then they searched the trunk and found the drugs. As they put him in the back of the police car, War kept saying, “Okay Candice. I got you. I got you.” Lawd…she still in trouble, all thanks to Mitch!
Finally Veronica and Jeffrey get to Katheryn’s house. When they walked in, Veronica threw her coat on the floor in Hanna’s direction, saying “Pick it up.” Hanna said, “Pick it up you d**n self!” She called for Jeffrey to come get it, but Jeffrey went to Katheryn, who confirmed to him that Wyatt was dead. Of course, Jeffrey broke down. Veronica was like, “Don’t be over here crying over a man. Dry your eyes.” Hanna went over to comfort Jeffrey, and Veronica was like, “My son doesn’t need comforting.” Hanna said, “Neither does mine, but you do it anyway.” Veronica keeps on: “You’re just being a sissy, crying over a man. Look at you, it makes me sick.” Katheryn tried to tell Veronica that it’s okay: “Wyatt was his friend. He loved him just like we all did.” Veronica said, “No, it’s not okay. Look how he’s representing me.” Then she grabs his face, “Look around! All these women in here and you’re the only one crying. You aren’t being a man.” Katheryn tried to tell her again that it’s fine and that she can call her driver to take her home, but Veronica refuses, saying they should have never come over and that Jeffrey will take her home. Hanna tells Veronica that Jeffrey needs to be comforted and she needs to leave him alone, but she can Veronica get into it, and Katheryn tells her to just walk away.
Veronica was steadily talking crazy, but she noticed that Jeffrey kept looking at the bottle on the table. She was like, “Why do you keep looking at that bottle?” He said, “Because I want to hit you over the head with it.” She laughs and is like, “You don’t have the heart. Real men have the heart to go to battle – you don’t.” He starts crying again and Veronica gets upset again, “You are so out of line! You’re making me angry! Katheryn, I’m sorry – I had a few drinks and emotions are high. He wants to hit me over the head with a bottle….we need to go. Come on, Jeffrey.” Katheryn offers to have her driver take V home again, but V was like, “No, Jeffrey will take me home. Ha, talking about he’s going to hit me over the head with a bottle. He ain’t gonna do nothing! That’s some hood b***h in the club stuff! Come on.”
Next thing we know, Jeffrey reaches – not for the bottle – for the knife and stabs his mama!! Everyone’s mouth was left wide open and in shock!
And that was the end of the episode!
