Quinn King tries to interfere with Rachel Goldberg and Coleman Wasserman‘s relationship on UnREAL season 2 episode 7. For a refresher on what happened last week, read my recap of episode 6.
UnREAL season 2 episode 7 opens with Rachel and Coleman having an intimate moment in bed together. Coleman invites Rachel to be his date for his cousin’s wedding.
After Adam Cromwell‘s return, he speaks to Rachel privately. She tells him that she never loved him and that what they had was a mistake. They start to kiss deeply. After kissing for a while, Rachel tells him, “I’m very happy so leave me alone.”
Coleman talks to Quinn, who tells him that Rachel isn’t capable of managing things and that Quinn keeps her in line.
Rachel starts having sex with Coleman on his desk, timing it so that Adam will walk in while they’re about to start. Adam asks her, “That’s what you wanted me to see?”
Rachel tells Coleman that there’s nothing going on with him and Adam. Coleman asks him, “Do you think this is cute? The exes popping up? The drama? I don’t.”
Rachel tells Coleman that he’s right about her baggage and that she doesn’t think it’s cute. She assures him that she does want to change. They’re interrupted by a call from Madison saying that Darius Beck and Romeo took the Everlasting car for a joy ride. Rachel suggests they call the cops, knowing that two black men in a Bentley won’t go over well with the cops in the neighborhood.
Darius, Romeo, Tiffany James and Yael drive around when the cops pull them over. Rachel and Coleman bring a film crew to the side of the road to capture it.
As the cops force Darius and Romeo against the car, Coleman tells Rachel to keep filming. But, Rachel decides to interfere. She runs out and yells at the cops that she’s the producer and tells them to stop. One of the cops shoots Romeo.
Meanwhile, Quinn sits in a spa with John Booth. Her phone keeps ringing, but John tells her that she needs to delegate and he drops her phone in water.
Madison tells Jay that Rachel was the one who called the cops. When Rachel walks in, Jay looks at her with horror. He’s almost crying as he asks if her plan was to expose how racist the police are by getting someone shot. He tells her, “If Romeo dies, it’s all on you and this is not your story to tell, so why don’t you stop trying to help? Because there is a very good chance everyone might be better off without you.”
Rachel goes into one of the crew trucks by herself. She’s sobbing as she makes a phone call. After the person on the other end answers, Rachel asks, “Mom?”
Quinn meets up with Coleman. Coleman insists that he got footage of the most important story the show has ever done. Quinn tells him, “Go home, Coleman. You’re done.”
Rachel’s mom takes her to a mental hospital. She brings her pills, which Rachel takes. Her mom tells her, “You know I love you, right?” Rachel rests her head on her pillow and closes her eyes.
