We are close to finding out the winner of Food Network Star Season 12, as Bobby Flay and Giada De Laurentiis worked it down to the final three contestants on Next Food Network Star 2016 last night with the winner of Star Salvation still needing to come back into play, but who went home on Food Network Star 2016 last night? Find out those Week 9 results on Food Network Star last night below in our Food Network Star 2016 spoilers!
Last night on Food Network Star Season 12, it was all about the holidays for these contestants! They started the night having to create dishes celebrating different food holidays from throughout the year, like Fortune Cookie Day and Frog Legs Day! They had to do live stream videos presenting their dishes and got some help from their loved ones with the videos! Jernard shined with his wife in attendance and easily won this challenge.
For winning, he got to pick the holidays they would all be cooking for the next challenge, which had them celebrating actual holidays and throwing a party for it and shooting a demo. Jernard picked Mardi Gras for himself, which seemed like an obvious choice. His presentation was amazing, but his food was not that great and the judges were not impressed.
Ana seemed to up her presentation skills all night long, but then the judges did not see Irish food for St. Patrick’s Day, as she put too much of her Cuban twist on them. It did come down to Ana and Jernard and while the judges appreciated Ana coming out of her shell more, they thought it was too late and she was eliminated and Jernard safe! Now Ana competes in the Star Salvation finale against Monterey and Yaku and one will join the Tregaye, Damiano and Jernard next week back in the competition!
