Last week’s season finale of Southern Charm 2016 titled,”Founder’s Brawl,” began when the majority of Thomas’s dinner guests congregated at Landon’s house after he kicked them out, and they came to the conclusion that the dinner party was a planned attack. The next day, Craig informed JD that he was quitting Gentry to focus on studying for the bar exam, while Cameran had a breakthrough in therapy and changed her outlook on having children. As Shep made it clear to Landon that he didn’t reciprocate her feelings, Craig broke the news to a supportive Naomie that he was ready to focus on his dream of being a lawyer. Whitney and JD staged an intervention with Thomas and made him realize that he was raised better than the behavior he portrayed at his dinner party. Prior to the Founder’s Ball, Thomas reassured Kathryn that he never had anything with Landon, and Landon took style advice from Patricia in an attempt to make Shep see her in a different light. Finally, at the Founder’s Ball, Kathryn accused Landon of propositioning Thomas, but after both Landon and Thomas denied anything happened, Landon’s friend posed a shocking question to Shep.

On last night’s episode of Southern Charm 2016 titled,”Reunion Part One,” Shep discussed his new business venture and gave an update on his personal life, while Cameran addressed claims that she was a mean girl this season. Cameran also revealed that she received a lot of fan support for talking about her struggle whether or not to have children on national TV. The group unanimously agreed that they liked #newcraig better than old Craig, but it turned out that Craig still lied about taking the bar exam. Landon and Thomas swore that they never hooked up, but Kathryn let out of the bag that Landon actually attended a Valentine’s Day trip with Thomas that was originally meant for Kathryn, which was the big reason why Kathryn couldn’t stand Landon. Finally, a third paternity test proved that Thomas was in fact Julien’s father, but it seemed like the custody battle between Thomas and Kathryn had taken a messy turn. Let’s take a look at the top 5 moments from last night’s Southern Charm 2016 reunion part one.
5. Will Shep Ever Settle Down?
When Charleston’s favorite bachelor was put in the hot seat, Shep revealed that his dive bar, The Palace Hotel, caught on fire, but was due to open back up next month. In the meantime, he bought a new bar called The Commodore and it was doing fantastic. This season, Shep actually got pretty serious with a girl named Bailey, but when their relationship hit a point where Bailey wanted a commitment, they decided to part ways. Shep admitted he was afraid to make a commitment to anyone because he didn’t want to disappoint anyone or hurt their feelings. He may go home with a lot of girls, but he always tried to be honest with them and not whisper sweet nothings in their ear. For example, when Shep and Kathryn hooked up, they both had a mutual understanding that the night was purely casual. As Shep got older, he realized he liked his life and didn’t see a need to change anything. It looks like this bachelor is content with the freedom that comes with being a single man.
