Last week’s episode of Southern Charm 2016 titled,” From Here to Paternity,” began when Craig finally realized it was time to stop running from his law career, so he sought the help of his old boss for some career advice. As Shep met with Bailey for what he thought was a normal date, he found out that Bailey wanted a commitment that he wasn’t ready to give her, so they parted ways. Cameran revealed to her mom that she wasn’t ready to have children, and then she was forced to fire Shep after he bombed a real estate listing with a potential buyer. After Kathryn and Thomas took their new son home, Thomas met up with the guys to celebrate the new heir to the Ravenel throne, Julien. When Shep met Whitney for lunch, he told Whitney that he wasn’t ready to commit to one girl yet, but later was blindsided when Landon confessed her love to him. Finally, Landon bombed her follow-up meeting for her travel website, then at Patricia’s dinner honoring Thomas’s new son, Thomas revealed that Julien’s paternity test was inconclusive.

5. Thomas Jumped Out of Kathryn’s Window
In his current state, Thomas was feeling good about life. Kathryn was in a good place, they were having a good time together, and even though they weren’t in a traditional marriage, it was times like this that made Thomas think things could work for his family. Although, when Thomas arrived at Kathryn’s house to go over the guest list for his dinner party, their dynamic sure looked an awful lot like their past relationship. Thomas vowed to not invite people who weren’t supportive of both Kathryn and Thomas, which was why Patricia and Whitney weren’t on his guest list, but when Thomas wouldn’t back down on inviting Landon, Kathryn got angry. Thomas valued his friendship with Landon and enjoyed being in her company, so he wanted her at his party. According to Kathryn though, Landon was just a social climber. She saw Thomas’s legacy and wouldn’t give two thoughts to stepping over Kathryn and into Thomas’s life. Finally, Kathryn declared that she wouldn’t show up if Landon was invited, and that’s when Thomas accused her of creating all of the drama in their group. Thomas threatened to cancel the whole dinner and tried to leave, but Kathryn wouldn’t let him out the door. Being the intellectual man he was, since the door wasn’t an escape option, Thomas opted to climb out of the window instead. Well, that eventually cracked Kathryn and she welcomed Landon to the party because it was Thomas’s party and she was willing to support him. The only thing Kathryn wanted was for Thomas to be on her side and stand up for her, which later he came through on.
