It looks like The CW is putting that focus on DC Comics, like they stated earlier, and the fall schedule for The CW has those characters opening the night on four of the five nights during the week! We also have Supergirl shifting to The CW this fall and it seems to be in familiar territory, but still a weird timeslot. Check out The CW fall schedule 2016 below!
With the focus on DC Comics, we have Supergirl (Monday nights), The Flash (Tuesday nights), Arrow (Wednesday nights) and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (Thursday nights) kicking off the evening with a little superhero action! Friday will be an off night for the superheroes, as The Vampire Diaries will kick things off at 8 p.m. followed by Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, which makes the shift from Monday nights this past season.
Some other shifts include Supernatural, moving yet again, to Thursday nights after Legends of Tomorrow. We also have some shows missing from the lineup, as they are put on hiatus and ready for midseason debuts. Those shows are The Originals, The 100, iZombie, Reign and newcomer Riverdale.
Here is the full fall schedule for The CW:
8 p.m. — Supergirl
9 p.m. — Jane the Virgin
8 p.m. — The Flash
9 p.m. — No Tomorrow
8 p.m. — Arrow
9 p.m. — Frequency
8 p.m. — Legends of Tomorrow
9 p.m. — Supernatural
8 p.m. — The Vampire Diaries
9 p.m. — Crazy Ex Girlfriend
The DC Comics shows seem to be working for The CW, so what do you think of this new lineup? Will we get sick of seeing the superheroes all the time and need more variety?
